I was listening to one of Ray Higdon video training about MLM coaching and he was describing the steps he thought were the most important when in position of leadership.
I extended on his advice and came up with the following…
7 simple tips for successful MLM Coaching
1. Adapt to your team members
Not all new reps will actually do the required work. Some might be excited to join but will not do the required consistent actions everyday. You might be hungrier than some and that’s OK, not everyone focus as much as you do. So make sure you accept everyone based on their “will” and give advice accordingly but do not waste time on tire kickers!
2. Lead but do not manage
A leader do not do tech support, they do not do $2/hour work for their members. A leader must show members through MLM coaching that they themselves do what makes money and not waste time with non productive activities. So focus on what makes sense and get results! When you produce and results, show them how you did it and enable them to duplicate them do not do the work for them or you will instill a feeling of entitlement. You got to instill leadership and initiative in them instead.

Stop finding excuses as to why you don’t have time or you can’t do something… Think about “How to do it” instead and be creative!
