If you have found this page you are most likely looking for a 5Linx review.
You’ve come to the right place. I have reviewed many MLM companies and here my unbiased 5Linx review.
5Linx is yet another Multilevel Marketing Company that’s making waves in the industry. With all the hype surrounding this MLM Company, many people wonder whether or not they are a legitimate business or just another 5Linx scam. I’ve been in the Multilevel Marketing business for many years already and in my experience, I’ve seen numbers of network marketing companies come and go. Is 5Linx just another small time player in this multi-billion dollar industry?
5Linx Review – The Company & Product
5Linx claims to be one of the industry leaders when it comes to the Voice Over Internet Protocol or VOIP. This allows customers to call anywhere in North America, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico for a much lesser cost compared to the traditional mobile phone and home phone plans. True to their word, 5Linx has been on the Inc.500 list of fastest growing companies for four consecutive years.
When doing my research for this 5Linx review, I found out they are indeed one of the largest companies selling telecommunications services and accessories not only in the United States but also to different parts of the world. This is through their direct and wholly owned subsidiary Globalinx. In this fast paced society, everybody needs to stay connected and mobile phones are no longer a luxury but a necessity. One of the best things about the company is that they are truly offering a substantial savings for their residential and business clients. After all, who doesn’t have a phone nowadays?
Aside from mobile phone plans from the major carriers in the United States, 5Linx also offers satellite TV services from DISH Network and DIRECTV. Most importantly, the network marketing company is giving thousands of independent distributors the opportunity to grow their business with just a minimal cash outlay.
Going beyond the 5Linx Reviews
You can read this 5Linx review and make a decision of joining on not. The bottom line is that the company itself is OK, no 5Linx scam.
However, if you want to succeed with 5Linx, you need to understand that a solid compensation plan and high quality products can only do so much for your success. How much or little you earn is still heavily dependent on how much time and effort you invest in the business. Still, even veteran network marketers will tell you that that is not enough.
Traditional marketing methods were proven effective in the past but the internet changed all that. In the Multilevel Marketing industry, it is not just about the products and the compensation plan anymore. You are selling the business itself and you are selling YOU. Why people would do business with YOU?
The internet is a very good platform where you can properly position your business. When you take advantage of the Internet influence and reach, you can be sure to generate more leads and boost your income. One of the best way right now to find new customers and some potential new 5Linx team members is to use Facebook. Facebook is growing faster than Google. Your future customers and distributors are there, period!
I got this awesome training you can watch for free on how to use Facebook to make people want to do business with YOU. Check it out, there no string attached.

I was talked into the scam by not one but 4 people, when I got no clear answers to my questions, but was told to keep my mouth shut and just shake my head in a positive manner. Due to this I decided to cancel my app and return their product all within the 10 day agreement. I was told by corp receptionist Tracy DeFreze that I was out of the 10 day business agreement, and could not get my money back. The application placed not by myself but the rep, was placed on May 10,2011. I cancelled and returned the product, via over night express, on May 20,2011. Tracey DeFreze singed for it on May 23,2011 at 11:35am. This is within the 10 Business Day. Not only this but I was harassed by the two reps for several days on my cancellation, they made me show them my reason for cancelling. Their names are Donna Betteridge and Michael Betteridge. They lied and told me with the adapter that I could place my home phone, internet and Cable all on one account. NOT TRUE. They said my son could change his cell service while under contract with Sprint, NOT TRUE. ANyone Reading this Report to BBB and Consumer Affaris. There should be a Lawsuit placed on this company and its INDEPENDENT REPS. I have all copies of transactions done. And am placing this under Federal Attention.
Hi Virginia,
I am sorry to hear about your bad experience with a few people. I am not affiliated with 5Linx but just be careful not to call the whole company or industry a scam if you see what I mean. We are in a great industry.
Is 5Linx a scam?
You be the judge. After being approached by my brother, a prison Psychiatrist looking to retire early, I decided to support him. I attended several 5Linx presentations, including more than a few private business receptions, regional trainings in Houston and in Dallas, and even a national training in San Antonio. All showing one of the best opportunities I had ever seemed. They promo grated the illusion of a great wealth building opportunity. I decided to get involved and use my name and connections of grow a business and down line. Being a long time business consultant, I understood the principle of reinvest and waiting, nothing happens overnight. But the trips were expensive and the time started adding up.
I started the business this year in July, hoping to slowly but consistently build a strong company. I listened to the business opportunity presentation to: build a down line, duplication was the key, and aim for residual income. The magic number for the company is 20 points. I started excitedly growing my operation. I rented a hotel room and starting inviting guest for weekly business meetings (hotels are not cheap but I was growing a business). If I built a team of 20 business partners with 20 points each and your average commission of 50 cent would yield you residual income of $200 per month every month for the life of the customer. Well things did not go as planned but over a period of four months I built a team of 18 partners and 148 customer points. I was excited, not what I wanted but not too bad. I anxiously waited on my residual income commission check. 148 points at about 50 cent wasn’t going to put me on easy street but it would be a nice beginning especially with a company that puts its representatives first. You can imagine my dismay when four months after I started I was told on Friday when commission are paid, I would get my first residual commission check of a whopping $2.15. In addition, I was told I probably would not see any significant improvement in my commissions’ checks disbursement percentages until I was a senior vice president for the company. What a big deviation from the story I was previously being told.
I stayed focused with my mission to build a strong organization even when the services providers did not honor the website contracts. I reasoned every business has is warps, and this is what I told my team. But how can I continue to tell my team about the company’s five governing principles of: VISION, INTEGRITY, OPPORTUNITY, FREEDOM, and SUCCESS? When in fact there are many complaints about the company’s integrity.
If in fact the company does put representatives first it is not all the representatives, new ones and established ones. It is only the ones at the top of the pyramid, the ones driving the Bentleys and walking away with the huge commission checks at the national conventions. What about the new recruits struggling to build a business? They get the company’s crumbs. And maybe that would be ok it they told you the truth; that they only take care of you if you are a big wig cash cow. I understand the company has had a consistent 800% growth rate over the past five years, could that be because of good old fashion corporate greed and the lack of integrity?
If you respond to Virginia by defending the industry and then claim to be apart of the industry, you are not very independent now are you Perig? Good job giving your fone number and great reviews. If I ever become interested in joining this MLM under a member who’s also independent, I’ll give you a call! Amazing
Hi Alfred, thanks for the comment. I am absolutely NOT independent when it comes to the industry because I believe it’s one of the only way for most people to break free. I am independent when it comes to 5Linx because I have not any interest in 5Linx. I just help whoever, give it the way it is about any company!
