It’s been quite a while since I have posted something here. I could make excuses as why, but I won’t. Have I been slacking completely? No, but I didn’t make the effort to post here. I know I should have. And when you build a business you know there are some days where you just don’t feel like it.

Not doing any post here in the past 3 days made me realize that I was not keeping my word. This is a lesson that is hard to learn for a lot of people, me included. When we decide to do something and we involve other people, we become accountable to them and if we don’t keep our words, we just let them down. And I feel like I let you down in a way.

I said I would post everyday here to help you build your MLM Business Lead Generation Empire and I didn’t. I have been distracted and it showed. I realize it and I have to change this. I have to schedule my time better and make sure I work hard to have this training ready everyday. I can make this happen.

This also reminds me a subject related to putting together our system. A lot of people often ask me if they need to build their own blog to be able to start marketing.

Do I Need My Own MLM Blog?

And my answer is always: “It depends”

The bottom line is that you want to market yourself and not your primary opportunity. We learned that in Mike Dillard Magnetic Sponsoring (grab a copy if you haven’t already). We know people want to do business and join other people and not companies.

So to brand yourself, there are options. If you have a system in place like MLM Lead System Pro as we talked about in the past videos and messages, then you already have your personalized capture pages where you can embed your own videos and personalize your message. If you do so, then you do not need a blog of your own (it is still better to do so though). You can use marketing methods that we teach to bring prospects directly to your MLSP capture page.

If you decide that you don’t want to use a personalized lead capture page (which is a mistake by the way), then you will definitely need your own blog. You need people to see that you are a real person who can help them learn how to succeed in their business.

But I Don’t Know How To Do It!

Classic! I was talking about not finding excuses earlier. It’s hard not to! I still do sometimes but much less than before. My mindset has changed. Excuses will not make me move forward. Excuses will not help me be successful. Do you think I was born knowing how to set up a blog? Nope.

Here is something that I learned. If there is something technical you don’t know how to do, you have two options:

1. You invest your money and hire someone to do it for you. One of my good friends did that. It cost him a couple hundred dollars but he didn’t worry about learning how to do it to focus on other part of his business. This is not uncommon. Many marketers don’t want to waste time with technical stuff. It is an investment and a business expense (think tax deductible!)

2. You invest your time and learn how to get your own hosting, buy a domain name and set up your blog. It is not as complicated as it sounds. I am a technical person so I like to learn how to do this kind of things. Now that I know, I want to help other people learn to. That’s why I will be helping you with these steps in the next days or so.

I will go step by step showing exactly how to put together this new blog with you. If you are not familiar with this, it may not be easy and you will be inclined to blame the world for not making it easier. We now know that Internet Marketing is all about Attraction Marketing

But how does it work practically? In a nutshell, to have people being “attracted” to you (no, not in a romantic way, sorry) you must show them that you know how to help them be successful and you must show them how they can do the same for their business.

However, you don’t want to do that in person over and over again. You don’t have infinite time and you really want to focus on what brings money in your Network marketing Business. You want to spend time sponsoring people and training them.

To do that, what you need is a personally branded, fully automated, lead capture page (and marketing training system. I will talk about that later in the course). And so you need one for 3 major reasons.

1. Brand Yourself As A Person Of Knowledge, A Trusted Adviser

This is the attraction marketing part. People will see you all over the pale, they will see what you have to offer and they will automatically associate you with a figure of knowledge. Automatically, when you know more that someone on a particular subject, this person will respect you and listen to your advice.

2. Automate The “Qualifying” Stage Of The Sponsoring Process

This is a automation part. We know that we need to (virtually) talk to a lot of people to be able to grow a large MLM organization. We will see later how to do this and bring a lot of traffic to your website. This is the marketing part. Very few people really understand how to market so I will make sure that I do some training on this.

Once people have seen one of your marketing piece online, if they are interested, they will ask for more information. Because we will have a massive MLM Business Lead Generation System, we will have a lot of people asking for more information. We don’t want show them what it is all about one by one at this stage. We will have a lot of tire kickers. We don’t want to waste our time here.

Our lead capture page will do the sorting for us. Only people really serious about building their MLM business online will go through the complete opt-in process. Those are the people you want to talk to.

3. Capture People Information To Create A List

Last but not least, is the capture part. You have most likely heard the saying “the money is in the list” in other industries. It is absolutely true for our Internet Marketing industry too. We know that 90% of people will not join our business. In traditional marketing, when they say “no” and walk away, they are gone and lost.

In the case of a capture page, once they are in your list, even if they say no to your primary business, they may want to know how you build your own business so they can copy what you do. Maybe they will buy this piece of software that you use to drive traffic to your MLM Lead Generation System. If they do so, you will get a commission referral from the software company. So this person says no to you now, but he/she may buy from you, and who knows, maybe this person will want to give your business a second look in the future.

My Experience

Personally, a couple of months back I couldn’t understand this and I was really trying to build my business little piece by little piece, trying to talk to some people here and there on Facebook and LinkedIn. I was spending a lot of time trying to do the work that my system does for me automatically now without me being even managing it. It is all on autopilot!

Ever Wondered How It Comes All Together?

I Have Time To Write This Article For You

I’m So Glad I Learned About Attraction Marketing

So what is Attraction Marketing all about? Well, the biggest problem in the Network Marketing industry nowadays is actually quite simple: 97% of network marketers fail in because they can’t sponsor anybody in their business! Period.

As you may already know, there is a very powerful trend in the industry right now, almost a nemesis battle between the “old school” (traditional marketing or selling) and the “new school” (attraction marketing) of building a MLM Business.

Here is what I mean by “old school“:

• Making a list of people you have met at least once
• Bothering your friends and family every time you see them
• Making cold calls to strangers who don’t care about what you have to say
• Driving around in circle to opportunity meetings
• Giving away expensive fliers to people in the street who will throw them away at the first occasion…

A warm cup of coffee in one hand, an awesome butter cookie in the other hand.

Today is the last day of the holidays for me and it was time to write down what this year will look like for me and my MLM business. This is a very important step for me because I have a pretty full agenda and if I do not write everything down and plan ahead I have a tendency of being side tracked.

So today, my goal was to sit down and think seriously about where I want to bring my MLM business for 2010. I am an extremely self-motivated and self-critical person so I have to set goals high enough for me to keep moving toward them with no down time. Something that I have found very true for me (and I believe it is true for a lot of people) is that if there is some time where I am not quite sure what I have to do and what the next step is, then my productivity will suck and I will have a very hard time getting back on track.

So I sat down for a couple of hours and wrote a bunch of ideas that I have for my business. It was some sort of brainstorming session. I was writing down random ideas without any particular order. This let me have the maximum number of ideas in the minimum amount of time. I do that pretty often in my engineering job and it is very productive. Of course not all the ideas will be good and implemented but some will resonate with me and I will have some winners in the pack.

For this post here I will keep some numbers I came up with in terms of my business goals private but this is something you must do in your business. I learned that goals without numbers and deadlines are like New Year resolutions. They won’t even last one month! So I have numbers. I have deadlines. And you should too.

What I can share with you though is what is going to happen in the next 100 days as I go along my 100-day content marketing challenge with my MLSP mastermind team (you guys rock!).

The Average Network Marketer Build a Business Part Time

I am a part time network marketer (full time serious) and I know that 90% of people who build a MLM business do it part time.

However, we only hear about full-time marketers giving advice that will only fit the schedule of someone who build a business full time. Very little internet marketers want to admit that they are building their business part time. I do not pretend.

I have a full time engineering job and I build my business part time. So I have to find techniques, methods that will allow me to fit my busy schedule. And because I have a limited amount of time available, I have to make everything working hard FOR me instead of having me working hard AT it.

It’s 3.30AM and I can’t sleep!

I can’t sleep because I can’t stop thinking about what I have in stock for you for 2010. I took some big resolutions for my personal and professional/business life and I am determined to keep them and see the results in a couple of months all the way to the end of the year!

On the personal side, I have decided to apply the slight edge and make sure that I eat healthier, that I do more sports and that I keep some special time for my friends and my family.

On the professional and MLM business side, I have decided to take it to the next level for this new year and this new decade. I have decided that the best way to that is for me to share the knowledge I have accumulated all along 2009 and before. If you have seen my message from yesterday you can see that I have decided to run a 100-Day MLM Traffic Generation Challenge.

I decided to do this challenge before the holidays and I took some time off the business to enjoy the holidays and spend some time with my friends and family. It was really relaxing but now it is back to business and I haven’t had too much time to think about how I want to run this 100-day challenge. I haven’t put too much thoughts about how I want to proceed and this is my next step in the challenge.

So for the second day of the challenge I have this message for you:

How To Generate Endless Traffic For My MLM Success Blog in 100 Days or Less?

Today, as the first post of the year, I wanted to wish you a very happy New Year. I hope that 2010 will bring you success in your personal and professional life.

As far as I am concerned, I am going to start this new year with a resolution that I will keep! I have decided to do a 100-Day challenge with other Network Marketers leaders using the same MLM Lead Generation System that I use. The challenge is a mean to produce the following results.

There are so many people telling us that they have found the perfect MLM system, yet there are a huge number of people failing to build their MLM business. This is true for offline and online methods.

Why is that? Before we look at the 4 components needed for a successful MLM Lead Generation System, we must change our mindset. Let’s first say goodbye to the old thinking and let’s welcome new concepts:

• When prospecting, you want to know your target market. To make this short, you don’t want to convince aunt Annie to join your business. She is not a business person. You want to target Network Marketers specifically.
• You want to make sure that you are not wasting any of your leads. You want to monetize everybody, not only the one that say yes to your business. You want to create instant cash flow to pay for your network marketing efforts.

Those 2 concepts are really important because they will completely change your mindset. The next 2 will help you make your business fun to build.

• You want to automate 90 to 95% of the work involved for the prospecting, qualifying and presenting. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could do the work once and use it over and over again? Isn’t it what network marketing is all about after all?
• Your time is precious either if you are building your business full time or part time like I do. So you want to be able to sort between the tire-kickers, the MLM haters and the people who are seriously interested in learning how to build their business.

When you first do this mind shift and make sure that you are on the right track to MLM success, it will be easy for you decide on using a MLM system that will do all the things I just described. I know I was stuck in my “old” thinking for a long time and I couldn’t really enjoy building my business. An this is true for a lot of network marketers.

Then I had a breakthrough and I met some great people who actually showed me how to market my MLM business seriously and efficiently. They showed me a MLM system that includes 4 critical components to make sure that I will succeed in marketing my business.

There is a big difference between prospecting and marketing and the 4 elements of your system must do exactly that, marketing:

1. Your MLM system must allow you to train you to multiple marketing methods to help you generate MLM leads almost immediately, even if you are just getting started. Remember that generating leads is the lifeblood of your MLM business.

2. Your MLM system must help you brand YOURSELF, not your company or your products. You must build relationship with people. Network Marketing is a people business. People do business with people they know and trust.

3. Your MLM system must help you create immediate cash-flow to make sure that you get in profit quickly with multiple income streams. This must be done on auto-pilot so you can focus on building your MLM business.

4. Finally and most importantly, your system must help you build your MLM downline. You must be able to talk on the phone to people who are going through your marketing funnel.

I was lucky enough to have someone showing me all this. If you haven’t had anybody showing you this yet, then you might not now what is possible.

Are you cooking for Christmas? This is a time of the year where I personally like to take the time to cook some great food. I miss France sometimes and I like, times to times, to try to get some of those flavors back. I will spend time going around to markets to find the perfect ingredients to make my meal the best they can be. An I will only choose the best ingredients because I know that the end result can only be as good as the ingredients themselves.

I do the same with my MLM business. When it comes to building a solid organization, I know that I have to find the best ingredients. What I mean is that I have to pick the best ideas, the best marketing methods, the best MLM system to make sure that all my efforts will create the best results.

Let me share with you the 3 most important ingredients that I picked.

1. A Funded Proposal

The number one is what is called a funded proposal. Most network marketers will fund their business by taking a loan with themselves. What I mean is that 99% of people will take money from they bank account to pay for their business expenses. Of course, we can call that an investment but building a MLM business is a long process for most. And for most people, if they don’t see any money back in their bank account in 60 days, they will quit.

Using a funded proposal let you generate some quick cash flow to get some money back into your business quickly to pay for your marketing efforts. And by teaching this to your organization will make sure that your will keep a much higher number of people.

This brings me directly to the ingredient number 2.

2. A Duplicable MLM System

We saw that there is a way to actually generate cash flow for your MLM business rapidly enough so you don’t have to pick from your bank account anymore. Well the question is now to actually have a way to implement the concept.

This is where a MLM system comes in. I used to do some affiliate marketing before starting my own MLM business and it was hard to implement because I was not using anything structured, nothing systematic.

When I discovered how to actually use a MLM system to build my business, it was a big ha-ha moment for me. I came to realize that by using a duplicable system, not only I will be able to have an integrated funded proposal but I will also be marketing myself. This is great because now I am able to show other people how to reach MLM success. And because it is duplicable I can show people how to do it themselves.

This is a very powerful tool that every serious market should use.

3. Marketing Methods and Tools

The third and ultimate ingredient is nothing but the marketing part of “Network Marketing“. Unfortunately there is a tendency in the industry to shift for “marketing” to “prospecting“. What I mean is that a lot of people are never taught how to market their business and the result is that they end up promoting their business to everybody who is willing (or not) to listen to them.

If you are doing this you have most likely noticed that it actually doesn’t work. You may see some quick results but they won’t last and you will get a lot of disappointment when people you sponsored this way will quit and jump to the opportunity next door.

Instead, you should focus on learning how to effectively market yourself and how you can help people succeed using proven marketing methods. And of course I am talking about using the Internet to do so.

You must learn what the top producers use. A few things you must learn should include copywriting, article marketing, video marketing and ultimately Pay Per Click. Now, you don’t want to learn all at once but this must be your end goal.

And of course, in the way you will discover that there are tools that you can use to help you with all these marketing methods to make them ultimately more powerful and start generating some great results.

Start Mixing

So these are my top three ingredients to create a successful MLM business in our age of technology and global communications.

Prospecting as people are used to is coming to an end.

Everyday, people are solicited dozens of times, told that they better hurry up to join “the best MLM business in the world”, that they are going to find MLM success! What do you think happens? There are so many MLM businesses available to people that they have build a huge wall around their lives and nobody can come in unless they are invited. You can hit it as hard as you want, the wall will not break, it will not even move.

Want To Get In?

To get in, you must have people invite you in their lives. The way you want to do that is by providing as much value as possible to them so they will see you as a person of respect and they will ask you for more.

This is called attraction marketing

It is not only used in the MLM industry. Think about all the celebrities and all the requests they have to endorse products and brands. Why do you think some of the big shows are called “Dr. Oz Show“, “Dr. Phil” or “The Oprah Show“? Do you think that Dr. Phil or Dr. Oz have a better degree than any other MD out there? I don’t think so. They just made themselves much more valuable by helping people solve some of their problems by giving value, advice to them. These people have made themselves so valuable that they have a huge number of people who trust them and who are ready to buy whatever they recommend!

That is what you want to do with your business. You want your business to be YOU and not your company or your products. You want to provide a lot of value, MLM training or tips to people (free if possible) so they will see you as a valuable person, someone they can trust and someone that they will be happy to buy from because they know that if you always give great value, what you recommend must be good too.

When it comes to building a MLM business, there are four fundamental bases you must have to make sure you build on solid fundations so you can reach MLM success. You can be running one, two or even three bases but if you don’t hit a home run, you do not score!

So what are the four bases you must run? Let’s have a look.

1. Generate Leads

This first base is really the lifeblood of your MLM business. You can be building your business offline or online, this applies. Without anybody to talk about your business to, nothing is going to happen.

This was the core problem in my own business as I did not have a large sphere of influence. This is the core problem of probably about 90% of all network marketers out there. Once they are done talking to their friends and family they don’t know what to do. I didn’t know what to do. So I turned to the Internet and I discovered that there are many ways to market my business and generate leads online using a personally branded MLM system. 2. Create a List

One you have a constant flow of people going through your MLM system, you have overcome 90% of the problems. Now, you can create a list with all these people going through your system. This is the second base of building a solid MLM business. You can create a list of people who are already interested in what you have to say and will not come back to you with objections. To create and manage your list you want to use an autorespondeur. I personally use Aweber as it is the best and it is fully integrated into my MLM system. It allows me to create and stay in contact with my list so I can run to base three.

3. Create a Relationship and Monetize Your List

Once you have people information saved in your autorespondeur list, you can send useful content to them such as free MLM training, videos, webinars, articles. You must provide value to your list and help them solve their problems. You can also recommend some tools that you personally know and you can earn affiliate commissions on those when people buy them (be sure to recommend only good, useful products and not everything under the sun). I have about 17 different affiliate products that I can promote, integrated in my MLM system. One of my favorite (and the favorite of many top earners) is Mike Dillard Magnetic Sponsoring course. This is how you can market some products to your list and create some cash flow to pay for your marketing efforts. Very powerful.

4. Convert Prospects To MLM Downline

You ultimate goal is not to have people in your list or sell courses to them, it is to provide value. You must provide so much value that some people will want to work directly with you. It is not going to be 100% of them but it is not that important anymore because on base 3 we saw that we will monetize our complete list. So even if someone does not want to join your business, you will still be able to earn some commission from this person.

This completely changes the focus from recruiting (with all the objections it creates) to providing value to people and helping others reach success in their MLM business (either if they are in your team or not).

Home Run!

When you can run through through all four bases, then you will hit a home run. You will create so many leads that you will not have time to call them all (I met some people generating more than 100 leads a day!), you will see your contact list grow every day, you will be able to earn commissions immediately while building your MLM business downline.

Are you leaving 95% of the money on the table?

If you are building your MLM business the way that the industry is used to, you know that the rejection rate is pretty high. I know that. I used to go to fairs, events, malls trying to find people to have a look at my business. I spend hours and hours going one person after another, one rejection after another. But what was going on in my mind? What is going on in your mind when some tell you ‘no‘. At first I was disappointed but after a while I understood that it was “normal“. So my attitude was, after each person telling me ‘no’, to tell myself “it is normal, NEXT!” I was spending so much time and not seeing any results. There must be another way to do that. But I was told by my upline that it is how it is done. I consider myself a smart guy so why would I continue doing something that is eating up all my time without bringing any results?

So at that point, I decided to stop this madness and think for a little while, try to figure out how I could do this business in a smarter way. We heard it “work smarter, not harder“. So I asked myself 2 questions.

1. Why 99% of people I talk to say ‘no’ to me?

This was a tough question. It seems that it is the average number in the industry but why is that? For every 100 persons I will ask if they are interested in my MLM business, only 1 will give it a shot. This is crazy. Does that mean that 99 are not interested in making their life better? I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t understand this and I had to do more research.

Then one day, I was lucky to have an internet marketer telling me about marketing and especially attraction marketing and he introduced Mike Dillard Magnetic Sponsoring course to me. This totally changed how I built my business. I will never, ever, see my “prospecting” efforts the same way. This is so important that I require my new team partners to get a copy of the course if they don’t already have it. It’s cheap and it’s worth 100 times its price.

And it answered my first question. So many people are saying ‘no‘ because they are totally random and unqualified. Maybe it is the wrong timing, maybe they are not entrepreneurs or maybe they are happy with what they have in their life. Why would I spend hours and hours talking to people who are not ready to start a MLM business? There must be a way to only talk to people who are already interested in what I have to say and want to learn more about it. No more objections. No more of “is this one of those pyramid things?” to the very classic “is this network marketing?“. That would make building my business so much more enjoyable.

So I talked to the person who introduced me to Magnetic Sponsoring and he asked me this question:

What is your target market? Who do you want to be talking to about your business?

Have you asked yourself the question? I thought about it for quite some time because I never asked myself this before. I couldn’t come up with a good answer because for me I had to talk to EVERYONE! That’s what I’ve been told to do and most like what you have been told to do too.

So he helped me out and he told me there was three type of people:

1. People who are not qualified and are not looking at a business. Those are your friends and family members. We saw that we don’t want to talk to these people.
2. People who are brand new and have never tried having a MLM business but now about it and want to try.
3. People who already know the industry but are not successful for some reason and want to find out why?

The last 2 types of people are the ones we want to talk to because both are already in a state of mind where they know that they want to start a MLM business and do it correctly. Our goal is to find what their problems and questions are and answer to them. That’s it.

If you pick a laser targeted market like this, do you think that still 99% will reject you? No because they are looking for information in a first place. Your success rate will be much higher. Still, don’t expect to have 100% of people joining your business. Let’s say you improve your results to 50%. This would be good don’t you think?

After I thought about it the second question came to my mind.

2. Should I just leave the other 50% of people go away?

I mean, I put so much effort into talking to all these people, creating a relationship that it is a shame that once they say ‘no‘ to me, there is nothing I can do anymore. They will not change their mind. What can I do then?

This is where I reached a tipping point in my business. I asked the question around and I had a very interesting answer. I was told that by using a different approach to present my business to people I would be able to actually make money from people who say ‘no‘ to me.

I found out, that, if instead of presenting my opportunity right upfront, I was presenting myself as a person of knowledge, an “expert” in building a MLM business, then I would be able to show people how I personally build my own MLM business and how they could do the same. How would that work?

I would recommend some tools that I use, a MLM system that I use and I would be able to generate affiliate commissions from these tools and programs. For example, I like to market through article marketing, so I would promote the article rewriter and article submitter that I use to submit my articles to 100s of article directories and create tons of traffic to my MLM Success Blog. When someone decides to buy the product, then I would earn a commission on this to help me pay for my other marketing efforts.

I would talk about my business in the background of course because this is the goal, but it wouldn’t matter to me if a person decided to join my team or not because I would still not completely “loose” this person, I would create some affiliate commissions. Isn’t that powerful?

I spent a lot of time online and I see many blog posts and articles claiming the best MLM System and the unknown MLM secrets. This is great but usually is a rehash of the very classic “yours is bad, mine is better“. Really, based on what? Very often it actually doesn’t give any real point as of why a system is better than another and maybe it fools some people in a first place but it fails to bring the actual complete picture of what actually matters to reach MLM success.

If you have read my profile page, you probably know that I have a scientific background and I like everything that is based on a system and everything that can be explained step by step. In this post I will try to reverse engineer what it takes to reach MLM success or at least make any money in your MLM business. if you are not familiar with the term, reverse engineering consists of taking a finished product and starting from this finished state, putting it in pieces and analyzing all the different parts and steps it takes to get to the final product, going backwards.

So, how do I do that for MLM success? Let’s dig into it and we’ll see what we get. The goal is reach MLM success. So what do we need to do that?

7. What is reaching MLM success?

Some people thinking about this too quickly would say that it is “making money”. This answer is too limited. Being (financially) successful in MLM would mean becoming financially independent by generating residual income that will cover 100% of your life expenses. So this is the end results we want. Now, how do you create residual income? What is the step before that?

6. Creating Residual Income?

We could say that we create residual income when we build a large MLM organization. This is true but it’s not detailed enough. A better description would be to say that we create solid residual income when we find strong, motivated business partners and we teach them to do the same. Only when we have duplication we can be sure that we will create a true residual income, not based on our current actions, but on our team member’s actions.

5. So how do we create duplication?

This is where many network marketers fail to do it correctly. To create duplication you must use a MLM system that is independent of your primary business opportunity. You must have a system that will brand YOU instead of branding your MLM company or products. This for multiple reasons, one being that there are so many business opportunities out there that people nowadays want to join people that can help them reach MLM success and not join the “super business opportunity”.

4. Where would we find the MLM business partners?

To sponsor people, we need to find people to look at what we are personally doing. Tthose would be MLM prospects or MLM leads. This means that people would be interested in what we have to propose to them. Maybe they are not successful in their business and they want to change company. Maybe they don’t have a company yet and they want to find one. Why not ours, we have a good company and we can show them how to duplicate what we are doing.

3. Where do the MLM leads come from?

The leads are a portion of the visitors to your website, blog or MLM lead generation system. So to generate a lot of leads, you will have to generate a lot of traffic to your pages, to your system. If you design your lead capture pages properly, you may see a 20% conversion rate. If you are not an expert, you may see 3% conversion. The higher the conversion, the better of course, so make sure you use pages that are professionally done or study many of them and “copy” what you see. Hey, how do you generate all this traffic?

2. Generate Traffic

This is the critical step and the tipping point of many network marketers. So many people get started in their MLM business and expect that they will see results by doing nothing. Well guess what? If you don’t generate traffic, or to say it differently, you do not talk to anybody about your business, nobody is going to know about it! So how do you generate this traffic? This is where many network marketers are told to make the list of the friends and family, do cold calling, distribute fliers in malls. This works if you put a huge effort into it. It worked for a long time. Personally I’d rather use more up-to-date methods by using the Internet to market. And this traffic can be driven from many sources depending on what marketing methods you decide to use. Personally I like article marketing.

So the first step in my reverse engineering study of a typical MLM business is…

1. Learning How To Do Marketing

Learning the different marketing methods available to create traffic is the first and most important step of all. This is the #1 thing you must know to even be able to start in your MLM business. Remember, we are going backward! If you don’t know how to do marketing, everything else is useless. If you pitch, present or try to convince, you will see a huge amount of rejection and you will not enjoy building your MLM business. If you learn how to do marketing, you will open a whole new window of opportunities that you don’t think are possible.

Conclusion

Here we are, at the number one thing you must do to start building your MLM business. Now, a word of caution here, there are dozens of different marketing methods to choose from and if you start to buy everything you can find to learn how to market, you will end up knowledgeable (with an empty wallet) but you won’t have anything you can apply because it is not structured.

I know what it is, because for many months I was focused on larning everything out there. Well guess what? There is an infinity amount of information available and I was not going anywhere. I probably have about 20GB of marketing material on my computer that I have read and understood but not applied. Don’t do the same mistake.

Now I have found the solution that works for me. It’s a MLM system that includes many aspects of the flow of building a business. By looking at the points above, the system that I use includes #1 with incredible training, #3 with professionally designed lead capture pages, #4 with a great way to present your business to your leads, #5 because everybody can use the same system and fully customize it for them and then #6 and #7 are more a result than a technical part.

The step #2 is where you have to work! Yes building a MLM business is hard work but it is simple with all the great MLM leaders doing the training and sponsors structure within the MLM system, it is an incredible masterpiece. I would not build my business without it!

Why are there thousands and thousands (I should say millions) of people preaching that the MLM business is an awesome home-based business but still so few actually successful? I mean, seriously, we often hear “97% of people do not reach MLM success“. I don’t really agree with the number, I believe it’s less than that but when I look around I still see such a large number of network marketers not making money in their business, or making just enough money to cover their purchases of products every month.

Why do you think that is happening with so much information, so many trainings, tips, courses, etc. available to us offline and online? And as a related question, why some people with apparently the same “background” can make it while other struggles everyday and do not enjoy building their MLM business?

Since I started working on my MLM business I have met so many great people with all the will and focus needed to be successful but they were not. And it seemed that you couldn’t figure out why. What was missing?

I did a lot of research myself and I found out that there was actually 3 simple reasons why people would not reach MLM Success. If you are struggling, can that be your reasons too? Let’s have a look.

1. They do not understand the concept of marketing, let alone attraction marketing

Attraction marketing is not a new concept but was made available to the mass of network marketers by the Mike Dillard Magnetic Sponsoring program. Mike Dillard does that perfectly but in a nutshell, the concept consist in positioning yourself as a person of knowledge so you will only attract people already interested in what you have to say. 2. They try to get before they give

Wrong way! What I mean is that they always talk about what is has done for “them” and do not focus on what it can do for other people. What do you think people care most about? What it has done for you or what it can do for them? Another example of this is what we can hear most network marketers say: “join my awesome MLM business and you will get this awesome training!” This is going the wrong way. What I always say is this: “Check out my awesome Free MLM Training. And, by the way if you are interested to use the system for your business or join my success team, check it out“. Which way do you think work better?

3. They try to recruit at the first contact

This makes me laugh of despair every time. Have you ever connected with someone on Facebook and you can see that they are network marketers because their wall is about “my super duper MLM business this” and “if you join my business today you will be rich next month that“. You send them a friend request and you get a “thank you” message that pretty mush says “Thanks for your friend request. Join my MLM business, it has changed my life, this is the best, you shouldn’t ignore this, bla bla bla!” Seriously? Network Marketing is a relationship business so create relationship, find out what people need, what people want, what are their problems are so maybe you can help them solve their problems. People are not looking for a business just to start a business. The only thing they are looking for is a solution to a problem. When you start helping people finding solutions, then you will find MLM success.

Here you have them. These are the core mistakes that people make when it comes to marketing their MLM business. If you noticed that you are doing one or more of those mistakes, then you must think about how you can stop doing them and find a solution to do it better.

All three problems explained here can be solved quite easily when you understand the concepts. There are numerous MLM system that can be used to market your business online using attraction marketing and by branding yourself as a leader to solve people’s problems.

For example, it’s a fact that countless network marketers are having problem generating leads to fuel their business or they can’t make money fast enough so they end up paying for their business expenses with money from their savings account.
